" Kim Perkins has been my training coach for over a decade. As a long term runner, I felt I was doing a great job maintaining a high aerobic capacity but I also knew that I had to work hard to build to maintain my overall fitness and flexibility.
Kim was the perfect choice for me. Over time, she built out a training program that worked hard on strengthening my core—back, abs, quads, hamstrings, hip flexors and she did this in a way that I did not over-extend myself and get injured.
Through a combination of overall strength training, pilates exercises and yoga poses, I started to move and feel like I was a much younger man—moving with confidence and flexibility. KIm is also knowledgeable about nutrition and eating habits and with her guidance, I started to eat better and carry around a bottle of water so I could stay properly hydrated all day. These are great habits that I still follow every day.
On a personal front, Kim is an extraverted, empathic and kind person and she is always glowing with enthusiasm and passion. She brings her “A” game to all of our coaching sessions and is a careful listener modifying each coaching session to make sure I maintain existing fitness and also challenge myself with new exercises. Through Kim I have a stronger core, better balance and more flexibility.
Finally, Kim is a great person to spend time with. She is a good conversationalist with a great sense of humor. She laughs easily and has a positive outlook on life.
All of these attributes are the ingredients of a great coach and trainer and Kim is the best!

As someone in my 70's with sciatica, I wanted to find a way to improve my flexibility and balance and Kim's approach with foam rollers and stretches has given me the much-improved range of motion I had been searching for.
