Growing up as a natural athlete Kim has always had an interest in health and wellness. Kim was involved with many sports throughout her childhood and graduated from Winthrop High School as a competitive gymnast. After having her daughter in 1995 Kim went on to be a gymnastics teacher at the local YMCA where she shared her love for the sport with her daughter and other children. In 2008 she graduated from the American College of Sports Medicine and started her journey as a personal trainer. In 2009 Kims life went through a huge change when she went through a divorce and began her journey as a single mother to a teenager, all while balancing her new career. Her ability to incorporate health and wellness into her daily routine during even the hardest of times turned into the foundation she built her new life, and career on. This sparked a passion to truly connect with her clients to create a customized plan that works for their individual lifestyles. She has now gone on to become a certified teacher of pilates and yoga. In sessions with Kim you will find that she puts a large emphasis on stress reduction. When needed, she uses meditation to reach a maximum level of relaxation so you are able to move forward in your session with a clear mind.
In addition to personal training, Kim is a sports nutrition consultant and wellness coach. This has allowed her to create the full picture of a healthy lifestyle for her clients.
